Enjoyed the stay although I requested a separate shower rather than a stand in bath shower due to my infirmity but they did not grant this.

Loved Malta. AX apartments were lovely, I would stay there again.

Convenience to sea front and bus stop. Fabulous spa and indoor and outdoor pool area. Good size apartments.

There was no bar for evening time even coffee shop in the apartment building.

Adequate option in st Paul's bay

The location of the place is very convenient on the Bayfront.

The cleaning is done once every 3 days only, the room size is adequate only for a family of 3-4 not advisable for a bigger group

I would recommend to any future visitors as a great place to stay.

Good location, spacious apartment, nice balcony.

A Guided tour of the gym/swimming pool would of been great. More channels on the television.

We got bigger room than we had booked,with an amazing view The hotel was rather older one,but it had this specific 80-ties vibe,which we liked very much It's in a very touristic area of the island,with very good restaurants nearby and that was what we wanted

Location was OK; rooms where clean.

Rooms are outdated, sofa was broken, there were very little kitchen utensiles, hard to cook anything for the whole family. I would expect more for the price.

Great place to stay with helpful staffs and good restaurants nearby.

It was in good location. Staffs are supportive and helpful and supplied with additional blankets and towels whenever requested.

The sofa bed is not comfortable for adults and even for children it makes noise whenever they move. There is heater/ air conditioner but it makes noise that disturbs the sleep. It’s hard to find a parking spot but as it is not a busy period we managed to find some free spots in streets after some round however this is known.

Great hotel, busstop just outside the hotel. Taxis easy to get.

Great to have a kitchen. Lounge big and sea facing. Not used the pool, too cold in December.

You can get free access to the beach club across the road, although I would have preferred the pool to be inside the building. The music in the reception & lounge area is so relaxing & beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, the sea (if you look ahead instead of down) was gorgeous. Place is located by lots of different restaurants. Cheeky monkey is a high recommendation from my family & I. The staff are quite friendly, the shower function is lovely. They have lots of seating areas in the lounge area which is extremely comfortable. Check in was easy. Receptionist was very helpful with giving us a lend of the hotels trolley for our shopping, lovely little garden in the front with a little forestry area & some statues. You have a bus stop right next to the hotel & a few little shops around the area. Everything you needed was there. There is also a gorgeous little waterfall statue in the reception area & in check out you get lots of information & some 10% off vouchers for nearby restaurants. We had a sign on our door most of the time to say that the room was busy & because of this, the maids couldn’t come in for a few days so one of the maids nicely rang us to ask us if we needed them to do a round in our room so we accepted the offer, I thought it was very respectful of them to consider ringing us instead of knocking on the door. There is a telephone to ring reception if you have any questions or need to request something.

The guy who checked us in, charged us for a donation to the AX FOUNDATION charity without our knowledge, although a good cause,, I still would of like to give permission as it’s my money, don’t just assume my answer. The bath was extremely slippery, you could break your neck, very dangerous. We also walked in on a cockroach in our bedroom so that was pretty disgusting. There aren’t enough sockets around the apartment either. Lift is extremely slow & wobbly. You have to pay €1 per weigh on their weighing machine for your luggage which is a rip off. I’ve had a few complain about that. Although the sea view was beautiful, the area I was in which was facing other residents, was disgusting & not maintained. The guests next door threw condoms on my balcony. When the cleaners came in, they didn’t renew the soap bottle, a few things went missing so quite disappointed by that but I’m not gonna say the maids purposely took them & the temperature is so bad you’ve to leave the balcony door open as you can’t control the heating (I’ve seen a few people say this already) . The lady in the beach club reception was extremely rude & cranky. We seen her last time we stayed in Malta & she was the same. Books in library area are foreign language, majority of people in the building spoke English so would have made more sense to have English language books.

Wonderful

We loved the view: last day we have seen the sunrise from our big balcon. It was amazing. The kitchen was well prepared, and very useful. If you would eat breakfast, you could move to the next hotel, de very expensive and elegant AX ODYCY. There you can eat an amazing breakfast for a fair price. If you had any question, de staff would be helpful!

The lichthof was a bit noisy with the other guests continous bathroom usage, so we often had to close the inner windows. Last days british guys arrived to the hotel. They were really noise, and stubborn and not polite. They started noisy party in their room, after coming back from a local party in the Café del Mare after 3 am. Luckily, in 15 minutes they stopped, and all became calm and silent, so well done for the staff.

Great stay

The hotel is in great location. Bus stop right before the hotel and other stops really close by. The shops are nearby. Very friendly and helpful stuff. The pools are great addition to enjoy some sun outside or how some peace in the inside pool. We enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to coming back.
